Photojournalism is telling a story with pictures. Instead of papers with words in one language, almost everyone in the world can understand a picture. The mood, the actions, and the expressions can tell someone's entire story on a small piece of paper. They will do many kinds of photography, including sports, news, and portraits. Companies will hire freelance photographers to capture shots for news(usually). They never know where they will be sent- there are an infinity of stories all over the earth. Its their job to capture them.
